  8. The -Za compile option, which enforces the ANSI standard, CANNOT be
  9. used when the include files OS2.H or OS2DEF.H are included.
  10.  
  11. This option cannot be used because the Microsoft extensions (near,
  12. far, cdecl, etc.) do not have the leading underscore (_) in front of
  13. them indicating that they are non-ANSI extensions.
  14.  
  15. To successfully compile with the -Za compiler option, place an
  16. underscore (_) in front of these extensions.
  17.  
  18. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information
  19. here as it becomes available.
