  1. XIcon is a conversion program for creating OS/2 icons.  It was written
  2. by Norman Walsh <walsh@cs.umass.edu> in May of 1993 using EMX/GCC.

  6.   Mac icon resources (raw resource forks)
  7.   Windows icon files
  8.   X11 XBM files
  9.  
  10. XIcon writes:

  12.   OS/2 v1.2 Icon files
  13.   OS/2 v2.0 Icon files
  14.   Windows Icon files (well, sortof--it's mostly untested)

  16. My appologies for the poor documentation and hideous command line options
  17. of this program.  For a brief summary of the options, run xicon without
  18. any parameters.

  22. XIcon is distributed under the GNU Copyleft.  You are free to modify this
  23. code, but you cant take credit for the parts I wrote.  See the file
  24. "COPYING" for more information.

  27. future version of this program will no doubt be a PM application with
  28. all kinds of bells and whistles.  But this one ain't it.
