  8. ROBOSAVE allows you to easily back up your OS/2 2.x Desktop and later
  9. restore it to the same system.  You can also specify a limited number of
  10. files to be saved/restored.  A simple text profile controls the ROBOSAVE
  11. operation.

  14. The following files are in ROBOSV.ZIP:

  16.   ROBOSV.ABS   - The Abstract file you are now reading
  17.   ROBOSAVE.CMD - The main executable file
  18.   ROBOSVUT.EXE - A utility program to access OS/2 low-level functions
  19.   ROBOSAVE.SMP - A sample ROBOSAVE profile
  20.   ROBOSAVE.ICO - An icon you can associate with ROBOSAVE.CMD
  21.   ROBOSAVE.INF - The User's Guide in OS/2 VIEW format
  22.   ROBOSAVE.AFP - The User's Guide in Advanced Function Printer format
  23.   ROBOSAVE.DOC - The User's Guide in a simple PC printer format
  24.   LICENSE.TXT  - License information

  26. ROBOREST.CMD is another file which is part of the ROBOSAVE tool.  It is
  27. not part of the ZIP file, however.  ROBOREST.CMD is created dynamically
  28. when ROBOSAVE.CMD is executed.

  31. The User's Guide is available in three formats.  The same information is
  32. in each one.  Use the format most convenient for you.

  34. * ROBOSAVE.INF provides an online version of the User's Guide under OS/2.
  35.   To display it, you can make the directory containing ROBOSAVE.INF be
  36.   the current directory and issue "VIEW ROBOSAVE" from an OS/2 command
  37.   prompt.

  39. * ROBOSAVE.AFP provides a high-quality document which can be printed on a
  40.   personal laser printer, such as an IBM 4019.  The LP3820 tool, which is
  41.   available as an OS/2 Employee Written Software program, can be used to
  42.   print this file.

  44. * ROBOSAVE.DOC provides a less fancy document, but one which almost any
  45.   printer can handle.  Only the Form Feed (X'0C') and Line Feed (X'0A')
  46.   print controls are used.  To print it, you can make the directory
  47.   containing ROBOSAVE.DOC be the current directory and then issue
  48.   "PRINT ROBOSAVE.DOC" from an OS/2 command prompt.
