  3.                 PMBackup for OS/2
  4.  
  5. What is PMBackup ?
  6. PMBackup is not a complete Backup program. It's a frontend for the OS/2-command
  7. backup.exe. Backup.exe is a part of OS/2. If you didn't install it yet you have
  8. to do so now to use PMBackup.
  9. PMBackup frees you from entering the command-line parameters for backup.exe you may
  10. forget if you use backup.exe only from time to time.
  11. PMBackup consists of a Window where you can enter the sourcepath and the
  12. destiationpath for the backup. All further parameters can be choosen if nessessary.
  13. PMBUENG.EXE can only be used for an English/US Version of OS/2.

  16.                 Registration
  17. PMBackup is shareware. That means you have to pay for it after a testperiod of
  18. about 4 weeks. The registration price is 2$ (two $) or 3 DM (three DM).

  27. If enough users registred for PMBackup I will implement some more comfort in
  28. PMBackup.
  29. Registered users who notify me about their eMail address will be informed about
  30. updates of PMBackup. I will not send disks to any address out of Germany.
  31. All notifications you make in the registration form will be treated confidential.

  33.                 Warranty
  34. I will not be liable for any damages due to loss of data or
  35. any other reason, even if I know about the possibility of damages.

  37.                 Installation
  38. Copy PMBackup.zip to a temporary directory and unzip it.
  39. InstEng.cmd copies the files PMBUENG.EXE, Readme.txt and Register.txt to a
  40. directory you have to enter if requested and installs a programobject on the
  41. WPS. There are no further changes in the systemfiles necessary.

  43.                 Deinstallation
  44. Delete the directory with the PMBackup files and the WPS-Object.
  45.
