OBJECT REPLACEMENT ver. 1.00
ObRep ver. 1.00 Copyright (c) 1995 by Gary L. Robinson
Object Replacement ver. 1.00 is FREEWARE. This version is absolutely free with
no strings attached. Future versions ( if there are any ) MAY not be.
Object Replacement is a small 32bit program for OS/2 Warp or OS/2 2.x that
will hopefully assist people when they accidently erase some of the objects
that come with the system. Such as the System icon, Shredder, System Clock,
etc. Just select the object you want to create and either Press the Create
button or double click on the selection.
You can use ObRep to make multiple LaunchPads or most other objects. You'll
be prompted to type in a name for the object.
DELETING OBJECTS ..............
If you want to play with ObRep and get a whole bunch of objects on the desktop
then later find out you can't delete them - DON'T PANIC. Create an empty folder
and drag all the unwanted objects to them. Then delete the folder. You'll be
prompted several times. Answer yes to all prompts.
REPLACING TEMPLATES
Most objects in OS/2 can be made into templates by opening the settings menu,
tabbing to the General page, and checking the template check box. If you
accidentally erase some of your templates - just create new objects and check
their respective template check boxes.
DON'T BE TOO DUMB .....
ObRep is NOT perfect. It is NOT guaranteed. It is Free. While ObRep should not
pose any threats to your system be aware that acting dumb can.
