Welcome to Numlock2 for OS/2.
This file contains information you need to install Numlock2 for OS/2
and additional information.
This README file is divided into the following categories:

Software Requirements
---------------------
OS/2 WARP installed.
Hardware Requirements
---------------------
Same hardware requirements to run OS/2 WARP.
Restriction of the shareware version
------------------------------------
The shareware version is a fully functional version, but is limited in time.
This version will only work for 30 minutes, after this time, the state of
the numlock in a OS/2 window (non PM) is reverse to the state of the numlock
in the presentation manager.
The numlock LED will also starts flashing.
You are free to use the shareware version for a period of 30 days, after
this period you must register.
Installing Numlock2 for OS/2
----------------------------
Run INSTALL.EXE on the disk.
If the installation program does not properly work, you can do the
following to install Numlock2 for OS/2 manually.
1. Create a subdirectory to unpack the files to.
2. Unpack the files : NUMLOCK2.IC_ and KBDVIO32.DL_ to the subdirectory.
3. Unpack REMAUTO.CM_ to the subdirectory.
4. Copy NUMLOCK2.EX_ to the subdirectory (copy the file to NUMLOCK2.EXE).
5. Unpack NUMON.EX_ to the OS/2 bootdrive in the directory \OS2
6. If you want to install the DOS version, unpack KEYLOCK.EX_ to the OS/2
bootdrive in the directory \OS2\MDOS
7. Create an new program object in the startupfolder for NUMLOCK2.EXE
8. Change in your Config.sys :
SET OS2_SHELL=X:\OS2\CMD.EXE
to
SET OS2_SHELL=X:\OS2\CMD.EXE /K NUMON.EXE
Where X: = Bootdrive
9. To the libpath statement in your config.sys, add the subdirectory
where you installed Numlock2 for OS/2.
10. If you installed the DOS version, add the following line to your
autoexec.bat
KEYLOCK NUMLOCKON
11. Reboot your computer.
For information about UNPACK.EXE, type HELP UNPACK at the OS/2 command prompt.
License agreement

Numlock2 for OS/2, its executables and documentation, is the copyrighted
property of Mensys Belgium.
Author : Koen Hoefkens, member of the OS/2 UG Belgium.
This program is Shareware, you may copy and freely redistribute Numlock2 for
OS/2 to others, provided:
- the recipient agrees to the terms of this license,
- you transfer Numlock2 for OS/2 as a whole and intact,
- there is no cost to the recipient other than the costs
of providing media and transmission
