Ctrl-F - Customize fonts
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 4. Popup Menu ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The pop-up menu allows you to edit the INI file you are viewing. There are two
pop-up menus.
The first pop-up menu is in the Application/Keyword container. When you have an
INI file open and the ReadOnly option is not checked, you can invoke the pop-up
menu by clicking on mouse button 2. You have two choices, "Insert" or "Delete".
When you choose "Insert", you can add an Application entry. If you have
selected an already existing Application entry, you can insert a Keyword entry
that will be associated with the Application entry.
When you choose "Delete", you can remove and existing Application or Keyword
entry (whichever one you have selected). If you selected an Application entry,
all of the associated Keyword entries will be removed as well.
The other pop-up menu is in the Keyword Entry Value Field (where the keyword
value appears when you double-click on it). The only option on this pop-up menu
is "Save". When you click on "Save", the contents of the window will be saved
to the selected Keyword entry.
If you do not like the Keyword Entry Value Field, you can double-click on it
and the contents will appear in a full window editor (like the System Editor).
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 5. The Editor ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The Editor is a built in text editor you can use in place of the Keyword Entry
Value Field. You can start this editor by double-clicking on the Keyword Entry
Value Field. The value in the field will appear in an editor similar to that of
the OS/2** System Editor.
There are only two options in the editor, "Save" and "Cancel". If you choose
"Save", the current information in the editor will be placed into the Keyword
Entry Value Field and the editor will close. If you choose "Cancel", any
changed will be aborted and the editor will close. The editor does not directly
edit the INI file you currently are browsing.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 6. Known Problems ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
These are the known problems in version 1.01
INI Browser sometimes fails when you attempt to insert a keyword entry.
Quick Fix: Make sure you select a keyword entry that already exists before you
attempt to insert a new keyword entry.
