  5. HotKey will disable the CTRL+ALT+DEL keys in OS/2 Presentation Manager, 
  6. OS/2 Full Screen, DOS Full screen, Win Full Screen and ALL OS/2 
  7. seamless sessions. HotKey consists of three files: 
  8.  
  9. HotKey.exe      This is the executable file that initiates all the 
  10.                 processing.  This executable will start minimized.
  11.  
  12. HotKey.dll     This is the DLL file that disables and enables the 
  13.                 system keys.
  14.  
  15. HotMon.exe        This is the OS/2 keyboard monitor or OS/2 Full 
  16.                 screen sessions. 
  17.  
  18. The ALT+TAB, CTRL+ESC key sequences will still work in all OS/2 
  19. Presentation Manager and seamless sessions.  However, due to the
  20. nature of how the System keys are disabled in an OS/2 environment, 
  21. the CTRL+ESC and ALT+TAB keys, will not function in an OS/2 Full 
  22. Screen session without HotMon.exe.  HotMon.exe is an OS/2 keyboard 
  23. monitor the passes the CTRL+ESC key sequences to Presentation 
  24. Manager to display the task list.  Without HotMon.exe the 
  25. only way to get out of an OS/2 Full Screen session is to end it.

  27. Installation:

  29.     Copy the HotKey.dll file to a directory in your LIBPATH. 
  30.         copy a:\hotkey.dll c:\os2\dll
  31.  
  32.     Copy the HotKey.Exe file to a PATH directory
  33.         copy a:\hotkey.exe c:\os2
  34.  
  35.     Copy the HotMon.Exe file to a PATH directory
  36.         copy a:\hotMon.exe c:\os2

  39. Operation:

  41.     From any OS/2 prompt or from a program item execute HotKey.Exe.  
  42.     This will initiate the HotKey processing.  You must initiate HotKey 
  43.     before you use HotMon.exe.  To operate HotKey from an OS/2 Full 
  44.     Screen prompt you must first Execute HotMon.Exe as a detached task.   
  45.   "Detach HotMon.exe".  After HotMon.Exe is started you may start 
  46.     your OS/2 Full Screen Session program.
