  4. Could you use a simple and effective program that can turn ANY normal
  5. DOS program into a TSR (a memory resident program)? If so, PopUp is
  6. for you. PopUp is distributed using the popular Shareware method. Please
  7. read the manual for more information about registering your copy of PopUp.
  8.  
  9. Changes in version 1.14 (since 1.12):
  10.  
  11.     o  PopUp (and the PopItUp utility) no longer converts command-line
  12.        parameters you are passing to the program to be popped-up to upper
  13.        case.  Converting these command-line parameters to upper case
  14.        caused problems with some programs which are sensitive to the case
  15.        of the command-line parameters passed to them.
  16.  
  17.     o  PopUp now stores the DOS Environment when it is loaded, and
  18.        uses it when it is popped up.  This means that, among other
  19.        items in your environment, your PATH statement will be effective
  20.        within PopUp.

  22. Contained in the Zip file you have downloaded are the following files:

  24. POPUP    EXE  -  The main PopUp program.
  25. INSTALL  EXE  -  The PopUp installation program.
  26. POPITUP  EXE  -  A utility that allows a batch file or program make PopUp
  27.                  popup.
  28. HOTKEY   EXE  -  A utility to help you with setting the PopUp hotkey.
  29. MEM      EXE  -  A very simple utility to tell you how much free memory is
  30.                  available.
  31. MANUAL   DOC  -  The PopUp manual.
