  4. The initial presentation of the HOBBES CD ROM Explorer application is a listing 
  5. of all of the subdirectories on the CDROM and a brief description of each. A 
  6. double click on any directory entry will bring up a listing of the file names 
  7. for that directory and a brief description. 
  8.  
  9. At the subdirectory level the user is presented with files of various file 
  10. types.  A double click on a file type of ZIP will invoke a ZIPVIEW of that 
  11. file.  A double click on a text file will start a browse operation for that 
  12. file.  The UNZIP command is available at this time to unzip the entire contents 
  13. of a ZIP file. File types of EXE, ZIP, FLI, or TST are checked and an attempt 
  14. to browse one is silently ignored.  The COPY command is available for EXE files 
  15. at this level.  Simply mark the EXE file and select the COPY command.  The user 
  16. is presented with a dialog box to specify the destination directory.  If the 
  17. specified path does not exist, it will be created.

  19. At the Zipview level the user may double click on a text file to browse that 
  20. file.  If the filetype is INF the OS/2 View program will be invoked.  The UNZIP 
  21. command is also available at this time to unzip an individual file to the user 
  22. specified drive and path.

  27. This menu item is active at the Directory listing and is used to exit  the 
  28. Hobbes application.

  33. Use this menu item to return from the Subdirectory listing or a Browse 
  34. operation.

  37. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 4. UNZIP ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  39. At the Subdirectory listbox, this command will UNZIP the entire contents of the 
  40. specified file with the file type of .ZIP. 
  41.  
  42. At the Zipview listbox, this command will UNZIP an individual file from the ZIP 
  43. file being viewed.

  45. In either case a dialog box is presented with a default directory. The default 
  46. directory may be modified to another path and/or drive.

  49. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 5. COPY ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  51. The COPY command is available during the subdirectory listbox for EXE files. 
  52. Simply mark an EXE file and then select COPY.  The user will be presented with 
  53. a dialog box containing a default destination directory.  The default may be 
  54. changed by the user.
