  4. DISCLAIMER - AGREEMENT

  6. Users of FontFolder must accept this disclaimer of warranty:
  7. "FontFolder is supplied as is.  The author disclaims all
  8. warranties, expressed or implied, including, without limitation,
  9. the warranties of merchantability and of fitness for any purpose.
  10. The author assumes no liability for damages, direct or
  11. consequential, which may result from the use of FontFolder."

  13. A fully functional demonstration version of FontFolder is
  14. provided at no charge to the user for evaluation.  Feel free to
  15. share it with your friends, but please do not give it away
  16. altered or as part of another system.  If you continue to use
  17. FontFolder after a reasonable trial period, you must make a
  18. registration payment to PVsoft.  (See below for the registration
  19. details.)  The registration fee will license one copy for use on
  20. any one computer at any one time.  You must treat this software
  21. just like a book.  An example is that this software may be used
  22. by any number of people and may be freely moved from one computer
  23. location to another, so long as there is no possibility of it
  24. being used at one location while it's being used at another.
  25. Just as a book cannot be read by two different persons at the
  26. same time.  You are free to keep a copy on each of your computers
  27. so long as you use only one of the computers at a time.

  29. Commercial users of FontFolder must register and pay for their
  30. copies of FontFolder within 30 days of first use or their license
  31. is withdrawn.  Site-License arrangements may be made by
  32. contacting PVsoft at the address below.

  34. Anyone distributing FontFolder for any kind of remuneration 
  35. must first contact PVsoft at the address below for authorization.
  36.  
  37. You are encouraged to pass a copy of FontFolder along to your
  38. friends for evaluation as long as you include this license file
  39. in the copy.  The file fntf30.zip contains all the files,
  40. including the license file and is the easiest way to pass on a
  41. copy.  Please encourage them to register their copy if they find
  42. that they can use it.

  45. REGISTRATION INFORMATION
  46.  
  47. FontFolder can be registered either as a full version with
  48. access to all facilities, or as a "Lite" version, which
  49. has access to all facilities except for printing.
  50.  
  51. A Registration ID can be obtained by registering FontFolder
  52. by one of the methods described below.  Note that current
  53. users of Version 1.x will need to upgrade their registration
  54. in order to be able to use the printing facilities of
  55. FontFolder 3.0.  A 1.x registration will still work with all
  56. other aspects of FontFolder, and is the same as a FontFolder
  57. Lite registration as described above.

  59. Registered users of FontFolder 2.x may upgrade to the 
  60. corresponding version of FontFolder 3.0 free of charge.

  80.    NOTE: Users from outside the U.S. and Canada, please do 
  81.    not send checks, even if they are in dollars, unless 
  82.    drawn on U.S. banks. Unfortunately, I have not been able
  83.    to find a U.S. bank that will process such checks 
  84.    without charging a processing fee equal to or greater 
  85.    than the face value of the check. Send cash, 
  86.    international postal money orders, or American Express 
  87.    money orders or use Compuserve, BMT Micro, or EmTec 
  88.    (see below).

  148. FontFolder is supported on Compuserve in OS2BVEN, Section 1 
  149. (GO OS2SHARE), by Compuserve e-mail to [75013,1701], and by
  150. Internet e-mail to 75013.1701@compuserve.com or 
  151. ccullum@ibm.net. I also monitor the Internet newsgroups 
  152. comp.os.os2.app and comp.os.os2.utilities on a daily basis.

  154. Notice of new releases of FontFolder will be posted on Compuserve
  155. in OS2BVEN, Section 1 and in comp.os.os2.announce.

  157. The latest versions of FontFolder can always be found on

  159. http://www.bmtmicro.com It should also be on ftp-os2.nmsu.edu and
  160. the other OS/2 public ftp sites, but I cannot guarantee this
  161. since access to these sites can be quite variable.
