  10. Disk Watch is a utility for OS/2 2.x which monitors the amount of remaining
  11. free disk space on the hard disk system. If the amount of available space
  12. is reduced below a certain minimum, then an alarm will be issued to inform
  13. the operator that he is running out of disk space.

  19. documenation, and the Disk Watch source code are the exclusive
  20. Copyright (C) of Logan Industries.

  22. LICENSE
  23. -------
  24. Logan Industries Inc. (LII) hereby grants to the user of this software
  25. package (from hereon referred to as "Disk Watch") a non-exclusive license 
  26. to use Disk Watch on one central processing unit ("CPU") only, for an
  27. evaluation period  NOT EXCEEDING 3 (THREE) MONTHS.

  29. To continue using Disk Watch after the evaluation period, the user must
  30. obtain a full single CPU license, or a site license from Logan Industries.
  31.  
  32. You may copy or give away copies of Disk Watch, and you may post copies of
  33. Disk Watch on BBSes (Bulletin Board Systems) provided that the following
  34. conditions are met:
  35.  
  36.     1) Only the DEMO copy of Disk Watch may be given away. Full license
  37.        versions may not be given away.
  38.  
  39.     2) Only give away the original, unmodified, files in the orginal
  40.        archived format (.ZIP file).

  42.     3) You do not charge any money for Disk Watch.

  74. INSTALLATION
  75. ------------
  76. To install Disk Watch, extract the contents of the .ZIP file to a floppy
  77. disk or into a temporary directory and run the INSTALL utility.
  78.  
  79. The following files must be present on the floppy disk or in the temporary
  80. directory:

  82.         INSTALL.EXE
  83.         INSTALL.INS
  84.         DWATCH.EXE
  85.         DWATCH.HLP
  86.  
  87. After extracting the above files from the .ZIP file follow these steps:
  88.  
  89.     o    Open an OS/2 Window command prompt
  90.     o    change to the drive/directory where the above files
  91.          are located
  92.     o    type the command INSTALL
  93.  
  94. The installation utility will prompt for the directory name into which
  95. the Disk Watch related files are to be copied (Default is C:\DWATCH).
  96. After verifying/modifying the installation path click on the INSTALL
  97. button. The installation utility will copy the required files and create
  98. a program object for Disk Watch on the OS/2 desktop.

  101. OPERATION
  102. ---------
  103. To start Disk Watch click on the Disk Watch icon on the OS/2 desktop.
  104. Configure the drive letters to be monitored by using the available
  105. menu selections. The Disk Watch online help will aid with configuration.

  107. You can size the Disk Watch monitor window to a suitable size and simply
  108. leave it running on the desktop. You can also move the Disk Watch icon
  109. to another folder or group if you don't want it on the desktop.

  111. You can also leave the DiskWatch monitor in its minimized state, the
  112. alarm message box will be displayed properly.
