═══ 1. General hjСlp ═══
DiskPct is a small utility, wich shows you utilization of selected disks.
The disk % is showed as a pie chart, and a number.:
If you dubbelclick on the pie chart, a details window will appear.
DiskPct will notify you, when utilization changes 1%, and the Pie will go red,
when a defined limit is reached.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Drives list box ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The listbox shows you all drives in your computer. Select minimum 1 and maximum
5 drives from the list.
By pressing the save button your selection will be saved to disk, for next
startup.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3. Threshold ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
When a disk exceeds the threshold, the piechart will turn red as a warning.
Thresholds about 5.000-10.000 Kb is normal for an OS/2 workstation, an about
50.000 Kb is normal for a LAN server
By pressing the save button, your selection will be saved to disk, for next
startup.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 4. Save ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
By pressing the Save button, all settings will be saved to the file DISKPCT.INI
This .INI file is read when the program starts.
The position of the main window, is saved as well.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 5. Update ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The update frequency determines how often the disk(s) space is monitored.
Update frequency can be set from 1 second to 30 minutes
By pressing the Save button, your selection will be saved to disk, for next
startup.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 6. About help ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
This dialog shows you information about the program and the author.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 7. Setup ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
In the setup notebook many different settings is available. There are 3 pages
in the notebook.

ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 8. Drive details ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
In this window, details about utilization is showed.
All figures is shown in Bytes, KiloBytes and Megabytes.
Note: The reason for 100.000 Kb is not 100 Mb, is that one Mb is 1.024 Kb, and
not 1.000 Kb.
A harddisk's capacity is normally stated as unformatted capacity. This can be
confusing for the user, as a harddisk always have to be formatted before use.
About 5% of the capacity is lost when formatted.
