  2. ConfigEdit/2 1.7

  5. Welcome to ConfigEdit/2. This tool will help you manage multiple
  6. config.sys files, and also help you manage different commands
  7. and multiple options. It will then auto-generate the final
  8. config for you. You can then manage OS/2's Recovery Choices,
  9. run Tyra/2 on the generated configuration and even get detailed
  10. information on every config.sys command.

  12. IMPORTANT
  13. =========
  14. If you are going to use the Recovery Choices Manager for the first
  15. time, make sure you either start with no custom options or your
  16. ALTF1BOT.SCR is in the correct format, like this:
  17. A) My A option
  18. B) My B option
  19.  
  20. Else ConfigEdit/2 will not be able to recognize your choices.

  22. UPGRADING/RUNNING
  23. =================
  24. PLEASE view the History section, it explains what changes have
  25. been made since older versions.

  27. If you are running ConfigEdit/2 for the first time, you need to import
  28. your current config.sys to start with. Else you will have to type it
  29. all by hand.... not a good idea.
