  9.       Thank you for taking this opportunity to look at the Tolower
  10. utility.  This is a FREE-ware utility and you are asked to freely
  11. distribute this file as long as you leave the README and all of the
  12. other files intact and you charge NO fee.
  13.  
  14.       Tolower is a "BOUND" utility to convert C programs that are in mixed
  15. case to all lower case.  This may be usefull if you have used a Pascal
  16. coverter to convert Pascal programs to C.  Pascal is not case dependent
  17. like C is.  Also, if you have received C source from some external source
  18. and would like to have consistancy in the names.
  19.  
  20.       Tolower is also "exclusive" (pun) in that you may supply an exclude
  21. file of names that Tolower will ignor.  This is helpfull for C keywords
  22. like "NULL" that must remain in upper or mixed case.  This is especially
  23. true for the OS/2 naming conventions where version 1.0 was all upper case
  24. and version 1.1 changed to mixed case.  The supplied exclude file includes
  25. some C names and some OS/2 1.0 names.

  33.       To use Tolower, simply copy the TOLOWER.EXE file to your common BIN
  34. directory if you are an OS/2 user or to your normal DOS utilities directory
  35. if you are running DOS only.  Keep the exclude file somewhere you can get
  36. to it.  Then just type TOLOWER from the command line to get further help
  37. instructions.

  39.       NOTE:  There is no space between the -x and the filespec for the
  40. exclude file.  You may use full pathing for all of the files.
