Screen Capture utility for OS/2
The program should be invoked with the following command:
C>detach scapture filename
Where filename is optional. If the filename is not given, then the
file SCRAP.TXT is used. This program will always start writing at the
beginning of a file, and extend the file by a screenful (ie, 2000 bytes.)
Don't expect it to append to the end of a current file. If the file name
that is given exists, it will start over-writing from the beginning
of the file, but will not truncate the file.
Also, you need to run a copy of this program for each screen group that
you intend monitoring. It will NOT work under Presentation Manager.
I usually create a CMD file for a program that I wish to capture screens
from with a 'detach scapture log.00x' just prior to the invocation of
the application. This is the CMD file I register under the start programs
of presentation manager.
Keystrokes used by scapture.
To capture a screen, press ALT+A.
To remove program from memory, press ALT+F10.
Newer versions of this program (and other OS/2 programs)
should start appearing on:-
The Optical Illusion - (215) 879-3310.
