O2D Installation Instructions
You've already unzipped these files.
Check your OS/2 environment settings by issuing the command: SET
You can page this listing by using: SET |MORE
You are looking for the BOOKSHELF= path specification.
Copy file O2D.INF to one of the directories in the BOOKSHELF path if
you wish to enable extended help display using the VIEW.EXE program.
If you wish, you can ask PKUNZIP to distribute the files by unzipping
them to their original directories. The files have been packaged as:
\OS2\BOOK\O2D.INF
\OS2\APPS\O2D.EXE
\OS2\BOOK\O2D.DOC
\OS2\BOOK\O2D.LIC
You do this by:
1. Make the default drive the drive that contains the \OS2 directory.
This is normally your boot drive. If you use C: for \OS2, then
this would be C:. If you use C: for DOS boot with boot manager and
D: is your \OS2 boot drive, then this would be D:.
2. CHDIR \ (change to root directory)
3. PKUNZIP O2D011.ZIP -d -n
Add the full path before the 'O2D011.ZIP' to tell PKUNZIP where
the file source resides. The -d flag tells PKUNZIP to recreate
the directories saved (put the source files into their saved
directories). The -n flag tells PKUNZIP to replace only those
files that are newer.
