  11.   This file, and it's counterpart represent the sole documentation for
  12. NEWSDESK for OS/2.  If you are already familiar with NewsDesk,  you may
  13. need no further information.  If however you are new to Newsdesk, this file
  14. will attempt to breifly explain it's use and some of the finer points.
  15.  Since the introduction of Newsdesk, the package has undergone several
  16. changes,  most recent of which is the release of both OS/2 and DOS versions
  17. as well as adding features to the original version.  In this version, you 
  18. have the option to setup custom color combinations as well as being able
  19. to use the software for QuickBBS, RA and Simplex BBS systems.  This was
  20. added out of personal need as we recently installed Simplex/2 on our home
  21. base.  Setup is simple, line 1 of the CTL file specifies the BBS type, this
  22. MUST be Quick for QuickBBS and RA systems.  For simplex, either SIM or simp
  23. will do.  The second line is where you place your BBS name, Third is the
  24. filename and extention of the ANSI version Newsdesk will create. Forth is
  25. the filename and extention for the ASCII version.  Both of these lines 
  26. should contain the full path where you want these files placed. Lines 5,
  27. 6 and 7, are color settings.  For valid choices examine the file: COLORS.TXT
