  4. Thanks a lot for your advice regarding LPREPOS2. Yours is the first
  5. feedback on this program in any of its incarnations (DOS, Windows,
  6. OS2) that I've recieved. If it has not served the public well,
  7. I'm not the wiser. I wrote it in response to a service bureau I
  8. use who were having trouble with jobs dying in their Lino. None of
  9. the files they put through are headerless, and it was their suggestion
  10. to replace the hex 4 with hex 25.

  12. Your comments are well taken, however, and I have modified the program
  13. to strip out the hex 4 character and not replace it with anything.
  14. Since I only use the Linotronic, and LaserWriter via RS232, this is
  15. my best solution for the time being.
