  4. OVERVIEW:
  5. Did you ever load a program that you later took off your system ?
  6. Odds are that it left something in your INI files. Although most
  7. programs have a fancy install program, most don't have an uninstall
  8. program. This can leave unwanted commands in your INI files.
  9. ALLINI can help you get rid of the extra sections that are lying
  10. there doing nothing.

  12. PURPOSE:
  13. ALLINI is a program to point and click your way to a cleaner
  14. INI file. ALLINI shows all the Sections (Main Topics) of your
  15. INI file and allows you to either View them or Delete the Section 
  16. out of the file. You can also Edit the Section to change any Item 
  17. that needs updating.

  19. REQUIREMENTS:
  20. All that is required to run ALLINI is that you must be running
  21. OS/2 2.x (or higher).
  22.  
  23. OPERATION:
  24. Caution! When you DELETE something it is gone. Please use the
  25. delete feature with care. If you have any worries please backup
  26. your OS2.INI  and OS2SYS.INI files.
  27.      Delete Section:
  28.           To Delete a particular Section, Highlight the selection
  29.           in the main Listbox, and click on the Right mouse button
  30.           (if you have the mouse buttons swapped the Left mouse
  31.           button). A Delete Confirmation box will appear Click on
  32.           Yes if you still want to Delete the Selection, then ALLINI will
  33.           redisplay the updated INI file.

  35.      View Section:
  36.           To View or Edit the contents of a particular Section, double click
  37.           on the selection in the main Listbox. A screen will appear
  38.           showing the contents of the Section you just highlighted. at 
  39.           this point you have a  few options. You can go back to the Main 
  40.           Menu without doing anything by clicking on Main Menu, you 
  41.           can Edit an Entry by clicking on the Edit Entry button here you can 
  42.           edit the current Entry or Cancel and return to the previous menu,
  43.           or you can delete one Entry or many without erasing the entire
  44.           Section by highlighting the line to delete and click on Delete Item.

  46.       Options:
  47.             Has the selection to either Alphabetize or Not Alphabetize the
  48.             selections in the Listboxes. If the Alphabetize option is checked
  49.             then all the selections in the listboxes will be in Alphabetical
  50.             order.  If the option is unchecked then they will listed in the
  51.             order read from the INI file,
