OS/2 and DOS runnable programs Copyright (c) 1989, All rights reserved.
Version 4.A 09 D. Idaho Long ARC, August Industries
Here are a some OS/2 programs that will also run in MSDOS. (ie. the
programs are bound). The one limitation is that OS/2 program are only
suitable for 80286 and higher order PC Compatible Computers (ie. not PC,
not XT, but AT, PS/2, 386 clones). These progams are mainly a collection
of file manipulation utilities to display, protect, move, copy, delete,
change the attributes and date.

These programs will only run under OS/2 due to their nature. Alarm
Sleep and Hourbeep all "act" like a Terminate but Stay Resident (TSR)
program. That is they run, no really walk or just sleep in the back-
ground.

Run a program to have it explain it's use.
BIN is for binary executable files, these programs are different from
PBIN which stands for binary executable files (ie. programs) which only
run in the protected mode (ie OS/2). Finally there are
RBIN files which are program which only run it the real mode (ie. MSDOS)
If you run OS/2 and DOS programs together, then this is a handy way of
segerating the three categories of files for the PATH statment in DOS
and OS/2. have the DOS environment PATH=c:\utility\bin;c:\utility\Rbin
and the OS/2 environment defined as PATH=c:\utility\bin;c:\utility\Pbin
