  1. INTRODUCTION
  2. This is a legal agreement which allows you, the end user, to use ZipStream
  3. under certain terms and conditions.  If you cannot agree to abide by what
  4. this agreement says, you should not use ZipStream.

  6. This agreement explains when and how you may use the program ZipStream from
  7. Carbon Based Software.
  8.  
  9. COPYRIGHT
  10. ZipStream is fully protected by copyright under Australian law and
  11. international treaty provisions.
  12.  
  13. OWNERSHIP OF SOFTWARE
  14. Carbon Based Software retains title and ownership of ZipStream. You, subject
  15. to conditions in this agreement have license to use ZipStream.  This license
  16. is not a sale of the original software or any copy.  
  17.  
  18. USE OF ZIPSTREAM
  19.   
  20. 1. You agree not to install or use any individual copy of ZipStream on more
  21. than one computer at any one time.
  22. 2. If you purchased a multi-system license for ZipStream, you agree not to
  23. install or use it on more computers than the number included in your license,
  24. as shown on your invoice.

  26. COPYING OF ZIPSTREAM
  27. ZipStream and the accompanying written materials are copyrighted.
  28. Unauthorised copying of the ZipStream software or documentation is forbidden.
  29. You may make copies of the ZipStream software which are necessary for normal
  30. backup purposes.  You agree not to make any other copies of  ZipStream, the
  31. manual(s), or any part of them, or sell or give any copies to others, without
  32. our advance written permission.

  34. REGISTRATION NUMBER
  35. The Registered Copy of the ZipStream software is provided with a unique
  36. Registration Number.  This Registration Number is NOT be given to others or 
  37. publicized in any manner.

  39. MISCELLANEOUS
  40. No one may modify or patch the ZipStream executable files in any way,
  41. including, but not limited to decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise
  42. reverse engineering the program.

  44. DEMONSTRATION VERSION LICENSE CONDITIONS
  45. If you are evaluating a Demonstration Copy of ZipStream the following conditions
  46. apply.

  48. EVALUATION PERIOD
  49. You may use a Demonstration Copy of ZipStream for an evaluation period of up to
  50. 30 days, in order to determine whether ZipStream meets your needs before 
  51. purchasing it.  Once the evaluation period ends, you agree to either purchase 
  52. a Registered Copy of ZipStream, or to stop using it.  If you have ordered a 
  53. Registered Copy of ZipStream from us or from a dealer, you may continue to 
  54. use your Demonstration Copy until your Registered Copy arrives.

  56. MAKING AND DISTRIBUTING DEMONSTRATION COPIES OF ZIPSTREAM
  57. A limited license is granted to copy and distribute the Demonstartion Copy of 
  58. ZipStream only for the trial use of others, subject to the above limitations, 
  59. and also the following:

  61. 1. The Demonstration Copy of ZipStream must be copied in unmodified form, complete 
  62.    with the file containing this license information.
  63. 2. The Demonstration Copy of ZipStream may not be distributed in conjunction with 
  64.    any other product without a specific license to do so from Carbon Based 
  65.    Software.
  66. 3. The Registration Number of a Registered Copy of ZipStream may NOT be 
  67.    provided to others or publicized in any manner. 
  68. 4. No fee, charge, or other compensation may be requested or accepted, except 
  69.    as authorised below:
  70.     a. Operators of electronic bulletin board systems (sysops) may make 
  71.        Demonstration Copies of ZipStream available for down loading only as long 
  72.        as the above conditions are met.  An overall or time-dependent charge 
  73.        for the use of the bulletin board system is permitted as long as there 
  74.        is not a specific charge for the down load of the Shareware Copy of 
  75.        ZipStream.  
  76.     b. Vendors of user-supported or Shareware software approved by the ASP may 
  77.        distribute the Demonstration Copy of ZipStream, subject to the above 
  78.        conditions, without specific permission.
  79.  
  80.     Non-approved vendors may distribute the Demonstration Copy of ZipStream only 
  81.     after obtaining written permission from Carbon Based Software.

  84. USE OF THIS PRODUCT FOR ANY PERIOD OF TIME CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS 
  85. AGREEMENT AND SUBJECTS YOU TO ITS CONTENTS.
