  8. Congratulations for choosing Windows 95 Uninstaller! It is a PM-based Windows 
  9. 95 uninstaller for OS/2. 
  10.  
  11. Directions for use 
  12.  
  13. To uninstall Windows 95, follow these steps - 
  14.  
  15.      Enter the full pathname of your Windows 95 directory in the textbox.  It 
  16.       is C:\WINDOWS by default. 
  17.  
  18.      Select or deselect Amuse me while I'm waiting. If you have a sound card 
  19.       installed, a .WAV file will be played to maximise the sense of euphoria, 
  20.       generated by what you are about to do . 
  21.  
  22.      Press Start to commence removing Windows 95. You will be asked to confirm 
  23.       your decision.  The deletion process is 
  24.  
  25.         -  The directory where Windows 95 resides (eg C:\WINDOWS) 
  26.  
  27.         -  It is hard to determine which files the Windows 95 root directory 
  28.            are used, and what purpose they serve. In any case, the following 
  29.            files will be deleted, whether it exists or not. Compressed 
  30.            partitions are preserved.

  72.       Errors may be generated if an operation could not be performed. Please 
  73.       note that Windows 95 Uninstaller is just a fancy deletion program; it may 
  74.       be used to erase any directory, even Windows 3.1. So watch out!

  76.      Press ? on the titlebar for on-line help.

  78.      Press About for Author Information.

  80.      Press Close to exit.

  83. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. How to install Windows 95 Uninstaller ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  85. To run Windows 95 Uninstaller, you must have 
  86.  
  87.      OS/2 Warp or above, 
  88.  
  89.      the REXX component installed, and 
  90.  
  91.      the View.exe INF file viewer. 
  92.  
  93.  Multimedia sound card support is optional. Performance is better on faster 
  94.  machines. 
  95.  
  96.  Copy the archive UnWin952.zip to any directory, and decompress it. Run 
  97.  UWinst.cmd to create (or update) a desktop object. To uninstall, simply remove 
  98.  all files. 
  99.  
  100.  The information files can be safely deleted, but not when distributing!

  105. Windows 95 Uninstaller is provided as a fully-functional product, with no 
  106. limitations. However, it is shareware.  If you really like it, please be kind

  117. must be intact when distributed. I do not guarantee the software's reliability,
