  47.  The TWCP application is a simple Presentation Manager application which let
  48.  you Mark, Copy and Paste text and graphics from a DOS or OS/2 Window using
  49.  the mouse, like in X Windows, without passing through the system menu.

  85.  With OS/2 V 2.11 the TWCP can only be Minimized to Viewer, this is a
  86.  problem of the Service Pack :-(, with other versions of OS/2 you can
  87.  Hide, Minimize to Viewer or to Desktop as usual.

  100.  To install TWCP copy TWCP.EXE in a directory in your PATH,
  101.  TWCPHOOK.DLL in a directory in your LIBPATH and TWCP.HLP in a
  102.  directory in your HELP path.

  108.  TWCP has the following syntax:

  120.  
  121.  This option is enabled with the /L[opt] switch in the command line.
  122.  
  123.  When this option is enabled you can low a window, putting it below all
  124.  windows, clicking with Button 2 on its Title Bar.

  126.  You can use the following modifiers to the option:
  127.  
  128.   1         Use mouse button 1.
  129.   2         Use mouse button 2 (default).
  130.   3         Use mouse button 3.
  131.   C         Use CTRL key with mouse.
  132.   A         Use ALT key with mouse.
  133.   S         Use SHIFT key with mouse.

  135.  Note:  /L1 isn't a valid option!
  136.  
  137.  Sample:  TWCP /L3AC will enable the option using button 3 with ALT
  138.           and CTRL keys.

  140.  Warning: When this option is enabled, applications' title bar will not see
  141.           the button click: if a pop up menu is associated with a click of
  142.           the button on the title bar, it will never be activated.

  144.  Note: This option is not saved with the program profile, it must be
  145.        specified every time TWCP is executed to have effect.

  149.  This section explain how to use TWCP.
  150.  
  151.  To enable TWCP you should:
  152.  
  153.    1. Select the mouse button with which you want to Mark and Copy,
  154.       checking the corresponding radio button.
  155.    2. Chose which control key(s) (Shift, Alt, Ctrl) you would like to use
  156.       together with the mouse to Mark and Copy, checking the
  157.       corresponding check button.
  158.    3. Select the mouse button with which you want to Paste checking
  159.       the corresponding radio button.
  160.    4. Chose which control key(s) (Shift, Alt, Ctrl) you would like to use
  161.       together with the mouse to Paste, checking the corresponding check
  162.       button.
  163.    5. Enable TWCP clicking on the ENABLE button.
  164.  
  165.  Now you can start to use TWCP.

  168.  To Disable TWCP you should click on the DISABLE button.

  171.  To Mark and Copy a portion of text in a DOS or OS/2 Text window you
  172.  should do the following:
  173.  
  174.    1. Press the Mark and Copy control key(s).
  175.    2. Click the Mark and Copy mouse button where you want to start
  176.       marking.
  177.    3. Drag the mouse, holding down button and key, till the end of the
  178.       portion of text you want to mark. Now the zone should be
  179.       highlighted.
  180.    4. Release the Mark and Copy mouse button.
  181.    5. Release the Mark and Copy key.
  182.  
  183.  The text or graphics you marked is automatically copied to the Clipboard.
  184.  
  185.  Note:  If you release the control key(s) before releasing the mouse
  186.         button, you remain in mark mode. To complete the operation, restart
  187.         from point 1.

  190.  To Paste from the Clipboard you should do the following:
  191.  
  192.    1. Press the Paste control key(s).
  193.    2. Click the Paste mouse button in the window in which you want to
  194.       paste.
  195.    3. Release the Paste mouse button.
  196.    4. Release the Paste key.
  197.  
  198.  The text or graphics is automatically pasted to the window.
  199.  
  200.  Warning: You should hold down the control key(s) till the paste
  201.           operation is completed, otherwise the text program could loose
  202.           the release of the control key(s).

  206.  TWCP works installing a system hook that intercepts every mouse message
  207.  posted.  If the message is directed to a DOS or OS/2 Text Window, that has a
  208.  window class of type Shield, or to a Entry Field, #6 and #10 classes, and it
  209.  is a Mark, Copy or Paste key combination, the messages for Mark, Copy or
  210.  Paste are send to the window.
  211.  
  212.  Warning: Because the program relies on the class name, and there can
  213.           be other windows with class name Shield that aren't DOS or OS/2
  214.           Text Windows, the program can fail with those windows.
  215.           The fields Class and Parent show the class name of every window in
  216.           which the mouse is clicked.
  217.           If you find a program that makes fail TWCP please let me know.
