  9. This is a simple splash screen with a start button, in the style of the
  10. X-Windows FVWM banner, and the Windows NT (TM) network logon
  11. banner. It requires OS/2 Warp v3.0 or later.
  12.  
  13. It is designed to add a 'feel-good' factor, by displaying
  14. an outer-space OS/2 Warp image.
  15.  
  16. It may be used by end users, to give them a nice startup screen
  17. when they start OS/2. In this case, one may simple put SPLASH.EXE
  18. in the Startup folder, which is in the OS/2 System folder.
  19.  
  20. OS/2 network administrators may even use the startup screen,
  21. by starting it whenever a user logs off, etc...
  22.  
  23. Its usage is completely up to you!

  25. If your company would like a splash screen displaying their
  26. company logo instead, contact Stellar-X for a customised version

  32. Splash is free for anyone to use.
  33. But be nice - Register with Stellar-X that you are using it.
  34. You will be entitled to customer support, for any query or problem.

  36. Splash remains the SOLE property of Stellar-X Pty Ltd.
  37. It is freely-distributable by any medium or site. 
  38. All files from the archive must be intact when distributed. 
  39. Any damage or loss incurred as a result of using this software 
  40. is NOT the author's responsibility.
