  1. This is the April, 1995 update to the OS/2 lookup program for the
  2. QRZ! Ham Radio CD-ROM.  Syntax is the same as the DOS and OS/2
  3. versions that come with the CD.  Only enhancement is automatic
  4. age calculation, based on the system date and the birthdate of
  5. the amateur.

  7. Run qrz2 from the OS/2 command line, e.g.,

  9.    qrz2 aa7bq
  10.

  13.    qrz2

  15. qrz2 uses the same environment variables used by the DOS version.  For
  16. faster access, add the following to your OS/2 CONFIG.SYS file:

  18. SET QRZDRV=E
  19. SET QRZPATH=CALLBK
  20.  
  21. Where "E" represents the letter of your CD-ROM drive or the drive containing
  22. the callbk files, with the colon (:) omitted,
  23.  
  24. and "CALLBK" represents the full path name to those files, without leading
  25. or trailing backslashes (\).

  27. For the above example, qrz2 would look in the directory named E:\CALLBK
