  4.     PERFORMANCE BETA OR WARP BETA AS IT IS CURRENTLY CALLED

  7.     do not work very well with the WARP II. They seem to work
  8.     with some machines/configurations but not with others.
  9.     We will fix that as soon as possible. Before that this should
  10.     allow users to use this program without those features.
  11.     We release this because more and more people seem to use 
  12.     WARP II and OS/2 v3.0 is very near. Problems will be fixed

  32. This is the second Lignum PMCMD release. Lignum PMCMD v1.1 is
  33. a commercial software which is sold by using the shareware concept.
  34. You can freely distribute this program and use it for the testing 
  35. time. If you decide not to buy a license, please let us know why.

  37. Lignum PMCMD v1.1 is a PM interface to OS/2 2.x command shells.
  38. It is not a command shell itself, but it provides many features
  39. which make the use of command line much easier. Test and see yourself.

  41. Installation is done by unzipping all these files to the final
  42. directory and by giving the command INSTPMCM.CMD.
  43.  
  44. The ADDICON.CMD file can be used to connect icons to files. This
  45. file is distributed with the permission given by Timothy Sipples
  46. (thanks to him).

  48. In this version most of the bugs reported by those who tried or
  49. purchased v1.0 have been corrected and some additions proposed by 
  50. them have been incorporated.

  52. Bug corrections and improvements in version 1.1:
  53. o    Home brings the prompt to the place to which the user is supposed
  54.     to type text, not to the beginning of the line.
  55. o    The prompt (or other text) after which users are supposed to
  56.     type text tries to resist backspace key.
  57. o     Pressing Enter or Ctrl-Enter in the middle of the line does not
  58.     insert Cr to that place. Cursor is moved to the end of the line
  59.     and Cr is inserted after that.
  60. o    Esc deletes the characters typed by the user. Now works like
  61.     in OS/2 Window.
  62. o     F4 works like F1 in OS/2 Window.
  63. o    F2 allows the user to cycle through possible completions of 
  64.     a filename.
  65. o    There is a keyboard shortcut which brings the VIO-window of the
  66.     session to the top and moves the focus to that window.
  67.     (This does not seem to work with all configurations).
  68. o    The color selection option has been improved. Now it is 
  69.     possible to change the color of text and backgroung. Colors
  70.     can be identified by number or by name.
  71. o    The manual has changed, but it is not yet very good.

  73. The previous version of this program has been accepted for 
  74. the CompuServe shareware registration service. Because the price of a license 
  75. for PMCMD v1.1 is the same as for v1.0 you can register v1.1 as v1.0.
