Full compatability creates a one megabyte partition just as FDISK would. An
advantage of this approach is that the partition is recognized as sufficient
by the FDISK program and the Boot Manager program can be easily reinstalled.
The primary disadvantage of this approach is that one megabyte of disk space
is consumed for a 14 kilobyte file.
Standard mode creates a partition that consists of the minimum number of cyl-
inders necessary for the Boot Manager program. This will usually be less
space than compatability mode but the partition is recognized as valid by most
software.
Aggressive mode creates a partition that consumes the minimum possible amount
of disk space to hold the Boot Manager program. This approach wastes the
minimum amount of disk space (subject to allocating space by tracks) but will
result in programs such as the Norton Disk Doctor considering the partition
table incorrect.
Please consult the Make Boot Manager Partition documentation for a more de-
tailed treatment of this subject.
