  4. This new version includes new versions of LU.EXE, BA.EXE, 
  5. and AN.EXE.  You will find new '.TXT' files that provide 
  6. your with all of the new features in each module.
  7.  
  8. You will be happy to know that this version implements all 
  9. of the features have been requesting, including:
  10.  
  11. * Analyzer now operates in batch mode.  The batch mode 
  12. generates a file that can be fed directly into the Batch 
  13. Editor.
  14.  
  15. * Batch Editor and Analyzer now detects and corrects DOS 
  16. DCDB sychronization error generated by LAN Server.  This 
  17. means that your DOS users will now get all of their logon 
  18. assignments.
  19.  
  20. * BAD ACLs are now detected by the Exporter module.  The 
  21. output file (FIXACL.ICU) can be fed into the Batch Editor to
  22. correct ACL problems.
  23.  
  24. * You no longer have to manually edit files in order to 
  25. import them.  Both the Exporter and Batch Editor now have 
  26. switches that allow you to convert [...LIST] sections into 
  27. ADD, DELETE, UPDATE sections at the command line.

  29. * Speed has been radically improved in both the Exporter and
  30. Analyzer.

  32. * A verbose flag now gives you progress indication as the 
  33. Exporter operates.  This helps you estimate the completion 
  34. point of different operations.

  36. * The Exporter's cross reference report now lists logon 
  37. assignments.  This helps you verify that all users are 
  38. getting the same device assignments.
  39.  
  40. * Command line arguments are now echoed on all reports.  The
  41. workstation and userid information is also presented to 
  42. track the source of the output.

  44. * A user name can be changed in the Batch Editor using 
  45. command line arguments.
