ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ <hidden> a roundtable discussion, part 2 ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Well, I went ahead and bought OS/2 Warp...now I'm ready to "Jack-in off the DataStream"!
HappyMan, you do enough jacking off right here at home...
No, "jack-in"...like with the WebExplorer...right now I'm "surfing" through the
TeamBlackHelicopter HomePage...WOW! A HotLink to an audio clip of Capt.
Matyshock! Maybe I'll open up another web session concurrently...
That's the idea, HappyMan...OS/2's Hot and Cool, Slow but Fast multithreading
lets you "Jack-in to the Max"!
You know nothing of multitasking, UltraMonkey...I just got OneStopMusicShop
which is infact an Emu Proteus SoundEngine piggybacked onto a Zorro II card for
Amiga...I start Qbase from the Emplant/Mac, load a midi-file and play a
delightful tune in full 32-pholyphony...with 8 meg chipmem, AMosaic runs so
well I can PickFlip the WB for a quick walk throught Legends of Valor...

ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ <hidden> more, one... ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
I can't believe you're running OS/2, HappyMan...everyone knows the Netscape
browser is the best NetProduct out there, period...after all, PC Magazine gave
it the "Pick of the Litter" WinMark Award for Excellence! You have once again
chosen a LOSER...why don't you "jack-in" to alt.newbie.lamer.lamer.lamer?
Good idea! They may have some valuable tips for me! I love "surfing" around in
Usenet...there are so many interesting areas...lately I've been checking out
alt.config...it has some great articles...those "cabal" types are really smart!
You have to take that Usenet stuff with a grain of salt, HappyMan...as a
"NetVet", I don't have much trouble separating fact from fiction...
Comp.sys.amiga.advocacy is the only TrueSource available...not like the
magazines that only cover inferior PC and Mac...Byte's refusal to adopt
BlitterSpec benchmark shows their LIES and BIAS...THIS CONSPIRACY KILLED COMMODORE...!
That's awful! I've always wondered why my paint program "MonkeyColor" never
sold well...do you think the magazines tried to "bury" Amiga apps?!

ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ <hidden> more, two ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
OF COURSE!!! ObviousAmigaSuperiority is crushed by the BigLies...
HappyMan, your MonkeyColor "program" made MacPaint look like an SGI
workstation...you should be glad the eight people who bought it didn't sue...
Hmmm...
Don't change the subject, Molly...HappyMan, your choice of OS/2 for
"NetLinkage" clearly shows your maturation as both a developer and end
user...Warp gives you a platform with some amazing capabilities. Did you know
someone is actually using the Personal Dictation System to post by VOICE to Usenet?!
BIG DEAL!!! GiantMedia has just released PersonalDictator95...this fully
NT-compliant messaging system makes communication totally automated: "The
Personal Dictator-Isn't It What You Want?"

ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ <hidden> more, three ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
I don't know about all that stuff...but I like having folders with long
filenames, and desktop objects to start FTP sessions...it's Easy and Fun!
Yeah, yeah...we've got long filenames...and Shortcuts give users instant
application and file access from the desktop...Windows95 is the first step
toward document-centric computing for the average user...
"Shortcuts": what an appropriate metaphor...it's a kludge...true object
technology maintains file system integrity!
Shortcuts give a 400% boost on WinBench95...OS/2 SUCKS on WinBench!!!
OBJECTS are better!!!
NO!!! SHORTCUTS!!!
OBJECTS!!!
SHORTCUTS!!! SHORTCUTS!!!
My headache is coming back...
