  4. This package does contain only small changes. For information see v1.1 readme
  5. below. To install v1.1a if you already installed *v1.1* follow these steps
  6. (For upgrade v1.0 -> v1.1a see info below).

  9. FEELX v1.1 -> v1.1a only
  10.  
  11.         1. If v1.1 WPS object is installed:
  12.                - delete WPS-object (e.g. shredder)
  13.            and - use uninstal
  14.         2. REBOOT (necessary especially when installed as a WPS object)
  15.         3. Exit FeelX by starting
  16.                - fxopt (old fxopt v1.1 !!) quit
  17.             or - using one of the menu items
  18.         4. Copy new files over old files
  19.

  22.     - Sorry, I forgot to mention that you can program FeelX with the
  23.       FeelX.go (nowps.go) file
  24.     - default name for startup-file is nowps.go if started as a WPS-replacement
  25.       and feelx.go otherwise
  26.     - For more info cf. changes.txt
  27.     - To start a program that is not in the path please don't forget
  28.       to specify the FULL qualified path in the program attribute.

  30. Hotkey info:
  31.     Some users were not very lucky about the hotkey feature. Mostly
  32.     because all Ctrl-Shift-combinations were deleted from the message
  33.     queue. This is not true any longer. The hotkeys can be a very
  34.     powerful help. Have a look at the toolbox.inc file. It is loaded
  35.     by feelx.go, the default description file. Some ideas are included
  36.     there (section Default_Hotkeys). Almost all samples are commented out.
  37.     Remove the comments, restart FeelX, try the hotkey (default: Ctrl-Alt+key)
  38.     and modify the file to your own preferences.

  40. ideas?
  41.     - I don't want to make any promises about future versions - but I
  42.       currently thinking of a more use-friendly way to define FeelX actions
  43.       (menus, hotkeys, ...). If you have any good ideas, let me know
  44.       (but don't expect miracales from the next version ...)
  45.     - Furthermore I want to enhance the toolbox.inc file to make it easier
  46.       to program FeelX. If you have any good idea for a FeelX object,
  47.       or if you expect the FeelX language to do something that is not
  48.       possible now, let me kow (or send me the FOOL-definition).
  49.     - If you have problems to integrate your program or DLL, send me a mail
  50.     - ideas for new objects are very welcome (it's easy to enhance FeelX)

  59.   - simulate some X-Window features (sliding focus, PM - Kill, 3rd mouse button)
  60.   - increase personal producuctivity by
  61.         a) offering a lot of menus (may be used as a WPS replacement)
  62.         b) easier mark & paste than standard OS/2
  63.         c) some small stand-alone tools
  64.         d) other features as described in FeelX.inf
  65.   - increase your fun using OS/2 :-)

  117.         2. Copy all files into your "FeelX"-directory
  118.         4. Add this path to LIBPATH in config.sys
  119.         5. Add this path to PATH in config.sys
  120.         6. Add this path to BOOKSHELF in config.sys

  123.         1. switch to the FeelX path
  124.         2. register.exe

  126. (C) Have it restarted on boot - time
  127.         1. Move feelx.exe or the WPS object in the startup folder
