  1. Short information for EPO Version 0.5

  4. EPO consists of a universally applicable optimization 
  5. program, based on an evolutionary algorithm. 
  6. You need the multi-tasking operating system OS/2 2.x 
  7. to run it.
  8.  
  9. EPO cooperates with freely chosen batch simulation 
  10. programs, regardless whether DOS or OS/2. A program 
  11. template in C source is given to demonstrate and ease 
  12. the necessary remaining programming efforts.

  14. ATTENTION:
  15.  
  16. You will not be able to use EPO without reading the 
  17. manual first!! There is no way to circumvent RTFM!   :-)
  18.  
  19. Though the manual is included as a TeX source only, 
  20. it should be readily readable for non-TeXnicians, too. 
  21. For TeX users there should be no problem to get a 
  22. printout of it, since no special fonts and the like have 
  23. been used.
