  2.                                WL - Workstation Lock
  3.                               Version 1.01, March 1990

  5.             This program is used in locking a workstation whilst other
  6.             tasks are executing. The primary reason for WL's existence
  7.             is PROFS and LAN Server! I dislike having to log off from a
  8.             3090 session or a LAN connection just to go to a meeting or
  9.             lunch. Also, when I'm in the process of a file copy, file
  10.             transfer or any other task - I don't wish to be interrupted.

  12.             Unfortunately, many of my co-workers have access to my
  13.             office and like to treat all workstations as their own (you
  14.             know who you are).
  15.  
  16.             This program prevents the unauthorized use of such 'logged
  17.             on' sessions.
  18.  
  19.             OK, sure, they can just CTRL-ALT-DEL, but then they need
  20.             passwords to get back onto the 3090, LAN or other system.

  22.             To use, simply set a password, select GO! and the program
  23.             takes control. You need to type the password in, press enter
  24.             or click on OK in the dialog box, and you can continue.

  26.             What's new in this version.
  27.  
  28.                  Password is now remembered between WL invocations.
  29.                  Logging for activities has been added.
  30.                  The password is now hidden as it gets typed in.
  31.                  The LOG file (WL.LOG) is created in the directory where
  32.                  WL is invoked from.
