Description
To start the Installation Utility, enter the INSTALL command at the OS/2
command line. Use optional parameters to customize the installation of the
product files.
Syntax

NOTE: The target path for the product will be prompted during the installation.
Usage Notes
o Parameters are not case sensitive.
o Parameters can be specified in any order.
Example
The following command specifies that the product is to be installed from
drive B and that the Language Environment directory resides on drive E.
INSTALL /S B /L E

Language Environment drive
The drive where you would like the Language Environment directories, IBMLE
IBMDDM, to reside. The default is drive C.

Help
Displays help for the INSTALL command. All other parameters are ignored when
this parameter is specified.

Action
Specifies the action to be taken by the Installation Utility. The default is
I, Install.
The possible values are:
I Install
D Delete
U Update
R Restore
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ <hidden> ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Path
Specifies the drive and sub-directory where the installation DLLs are
temporarily stored. The default is x:\OS2\DLL, where x is the boot drive.
The path specfied must be in the search path defined by the LIBPATH
statement in your CONFIG.SYS file.

Source
The OS/2 source drive from which to install PL/I Package/2 The default is
drive A.

Target
The working drive for the product installation files. The default is the
boot drive. The product target path will be prompted during the
installation.
