  4. The BallsBall Game is a sample Presentation Manager game. I saw game like this 
  5. some years ago on old big, but no good computers with black-green screens. I 
  6. not to remember name of the game and authors of idea, but I played then without 
  7. a stop. Then the big and bad computers have disappeared, have occurred small 
  8. and bad and I have absolutly overlooked this toy. But resently has recollected, 
  9. and so was wanted again to play, that has made it anew. 
  10.  
  11. And I have thought: let the people play too! I have added some decorations, 
  12. which so appeal to the public. And here, look!

  25. The File menu contains commands that you use to create new, load, and save 
  26. games. In addition, it also contains the command that you use to show High 
  27. Scores and exit the BallsBall Game. The following commands appear in the File 
  28. menu: 
  29.  
  30. New Game                 Creates a new untitled game 
  31.  
  32. Load Game                Load old game from file. 
  33.  
  34. Save                     Saves game to current file 
  35.  
  36. Save As                  Saves the current game in file using a new name 
  37.  
  38. Show High Scores         Shows High Scores 
  39.  
  40. Exit                     Quits the BallsBall Game

  45.  You can create a new game in the BallsBall Game by using the New Game command. 
  46. Score and Lever sets to zero. To create a new file, do the following:

  48. o Select the File menu.

  50. o Choose the New Game command.

  52.  The word "Untitled" appears in the title bar of the window.

  57. You can load game from file by using the Load Game command. To load game from

  64. A dialog box appears, showing you a list of files with *.bbg extentions in the 
  65. current directory.

  70. Use the Save command to save game to current file. To save changes to the 
  71. current file, do the following:

  426. This dialog displays information about the game, such as version 
  427. number,copyright notice, my e-mail and beautiful picture.

  432. The rules are very simple. You should make new ways on a field. You do it 
  433. through the runner. You operate him with the help of arrow  keys  (to left, 
  434. right, top and down) or  mous.  For each added cell you receive one point. The 
  435. cells are added when runner comes back on a old way. 
  436.  
  437. On a field balls go. If one of them touches a new way and the runner had no 
  438. time reach a old way, the new way falls. You lose on a point for each destroyed 
  439. cell and minuses of 50 points for collision. 
  440.  
  441. If to you will manage to stop a ball, you receive for it 100 points. It very 
  442. difficultly, but probably. For example, you can limit his field. Also under 
  443. some conditions he jams. I do not inform, which this condition. Try it! 
  444.  
  445. On ways hunters go. They move only ahead. If ahead to move is impossible, they 
  446. turn ago. If there is choice, they choose a direction of movement casually. For 
  447. collision with a hunter you lose 50 points. 
  448.  
  449. The game has 11 levels. Quantity of balls and hunters equally a level + 4. If 
  450. for 3 minutes you have typed 2/3 points from all existing on field, you pass to 
  451. a next level. Otherwise you have lost. If you have typed 4/5 points from all 
  452. existing on field less than for 3 minutes, you pass to a next level before. If 
  453. you already on 11 level, you have won. 
  454.  
  455. You can supervise for your score in text line. 4/5 is 100%, 2/3 is 84%. 
  456.  
  457. In any case, if you after the termination of game have got on 10 place or 
  458. higher, your name is introduced to the High Scores.
