  1.     The Emperor Norton Utilities for OS/2
  2.  
  3. The Emperor Norton Utilities is a collection of programs of an
  4. Eristic, Slackful or just downright bizarre nature. These programs
  5. may be found anywhere; on a FTP site, on your shelf, perhaps even having
  6. spontaneously formed on an unformatted disk.
  7.  
  8. Install:
  9.     Just put the *.exe files somewhere in your path.
  10.  
  11. Usage:
  12.     I have included brief text files which describe the
  13.     usage for most of the utils (the src directories might
  14.     contain more info).
  15.  
  16.     In general, it is usually of the following form:
  17.  
  18.       to place the output in a file.
  19.         filter <Input.txt >Output.txt
  20. OR
  21.       to place the output on the screen:
  22.         filter <Input.txt
  23.         filter <Input.txt |more
  24. OR
  25.       chain several filters together:
  26.         cat Input.txt |filter1 |filter2
  27.  
  28. Ddate, Spew, TaxLaw and Belief are not filters:
  29.     Taxlaw requires an arguement for the number of paragraphs of tax-law
  30.         eg. Taxlaw 3
  31.     Spew requires that the file headline be in the same directory as Spew.exe
  32.     Ddate accepts several arguements (described in ddate.txt)
  33.     Belief requires no arguements.
