ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Introduction: ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
List Man is a utility that helps you create a list, of file paths and names, to
be read by other programs, including Dos programs. List Man uses two window
lists. You build and maintain a list of file paths and names in the main
list-box. In the Commands container you can maintain a list of commonly used
commands to pass the list to. When you Run a command from the Commands
container, List Man creates a temporary file containing the lines of the List
Man list-box, and starts the selected command and passes the name of the
temporary file to it. See the Example.Cmd file for an example of a Rexx
program that can be called from List Man and will further call PkZip and pass
it the name of the temporary file. You don't have to call a Rexx program
between List Man and your program, but as you will see, some times it helps.
Drag & Drop folders to the List Man list-box to build the list of file names.
Set the Traverse SubFolders Option to include all files from all sub-folders.
You can edit individual lines in the list or edit the entire list to fine tune
the lines of the list. You can save the list and load it later.
