  3. PM user interface for GNU-Diff. Check binary differences between directories!

  6. Directory Differ is a PM user interface for GNU-Diff (please download it from Hobbes (ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu)). It allows easily checking complete directory trees for binary differences.

  9. Installation

  11. Please copy DIFFER.EXE into your GNU-Diff directory. If you want to use OS/2 GFC (Graphical File Compare, available for free at Hobbes), you also have to copy the GFC files into the GNU-Diff directory.

  14. Using

  16. Start DIFFER.EXE. Insert Directory 1 and Directory 2 into the entry fields. Press "Start". Directory Differ now compares both directories and will report files which are different.

  18. If you have GFC installed, you can easily run GFC for each reported different file by double clicking the file in the list box.
