  6. Yafvii is a refined file viewer for all discerning computer users.
  7.  
  8. Yafvii is unbelievably cheap to register.
  9.  
  10. Yafvii is surprisingly user friendly.
  11.  
  12. Yafvii was designed on **OS/2 V3 Warp, and may work on other versions, I have
  13. not tried it.
  14.  
  15. Yafvii will NOT WORK using **MS_DOS or **Windows.
  16.  
  17. INSTALLATION
  18. ============
  19. You need to put YAFVII.EXE into a directory named in the PATH, and YAFVII.HLP
  20. into a directory named in HELPPATH. See your CONFIG.SYS file for your path and
  21. helppath settings. If ALL ELSE FAILS, try putting YAFVII.EXE into c:\os2 and
  22. YAFVII.HLP into c:\os2\help. If you have a network, ask your system supervisor.

  24. REGISTERING

  27. 1) Why register?
  28.  
  29.     Programs such as yafvii are extremely simple to write. As such, yafvii only
  30.     took about 180 hours to write (I had a head start because I have most
  31.     routines already written). Anything bigger takes much, much, longer. Yafvii
  32.     is ALMOST free and as such represents a Gift to the World on my part.
  33.  
  34.     Do unto others as you would have done unto you !!
  35.  
  36.     Registered users are entitled to whatever technical support I can reasonably
  37.     offer.
  38.  
  39.     Be Charitable.

  41. 2) How to register
  42.  
  43.     Send me an envelope with your address on it. Include a receipt for ANY
  44.     amount paid to your favorite REGISTERED charity. (eg no dodgy outfits !!)
  45.  
  46.     Include whatever the equivalent of a postage stamp to your country from
  47.     France may amount to. Your Post Office can advise you on money orders etc.
  48.  
  49.     I will send you by return of post a CRN (Customer Registration Number).
  50.     This number will remove the startup logo and make you a registered
  51.     customer. You may use this Registration Number on YOUR computer(s) only.
  52.  
  53.     Any money in excess of the necessary postage will be routed to a
  54.     Registered Charity of (my) choice. Please ensure you send ENOUGH money to
  55.     allow me send you a letter.
  56.  
  57.     If you ARE a registered charity, or a school/university etc. I still
  58.     require postage and some proof of your status. This can be any printed
  59.     form or letterhead that you may use. The Registration Number will belong
  60.     to your organisation and may be used on any number of computers.
