  3. XMMX is a small (sizeof(.exe)<100K) multi-platform text editor
  4. Avialable:
  5.     + structurizing of programs (some hypertext features / folds).
  6.     + regular-expressions-search (as GREP util. in UNIX),
  7.     + fully tunable keyboard layout.
  8.     + fully tunable codepage layout.
  9.     + macrocommands as a sequences of keystrokes.
  10.     + macrocommands as a programming language.
  11.     + blocks
  12.     + copy / paste
  13.     + executing OS commands from within editor
  14.  
  15. Platforms supported: (i386 PC)
  16.     + Linux console
  17.     + IBM OS/2 Warp+ (maybe 2.* +)

  39. To use editor:
  40.     1. Read mmm.html
  41.     2. Read mmmkbd.html || m_kbddef.tex in ./doc & print it.
  42.     3. put "mmm_base.cfg" file to appropriate directory (see mmm.html)
  43.             (reconfigure if nessesary with "mmm_cfg" util.,
  44.             You can compile mmm_cfg.cpp with EVERY C++ compiler)
  45.     4. Edit texts (if something goes wrong, press "Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Esc" to
  46.             invoke ABORT function)
