  14.        INFVIEW is a DOS-mode program for reading OS/2 .INF and .HLP files.
  15.        I was waiting for a long time for such a program to show up on some
  16.        OS/2 ftp site, but no luck. So, I wrote one. It is my first
  17.        program I wrote not only for myself, and it is also my first program
  18.        in Turbo Vision. So, do not expect miracles.

  20.        To  decode  the INF  files,  I  relied on  the  information  in the
  21.        INF02A.DOC file. As the information in that DOC is not  complete,
  22.        neither is INFVIEW.

  26.        ====  How To Use It
  27.  
  28.        To  start INFVIEW on an IPF file (.INF  or .HLP), pass  the full name
  29.        (including  the extension!)  of the  file as  an argument  to INFVIEW.
  30.        It does not support multiple documents, so it will process only first
  31.        file if there are more then one. INFVIEW shows what it reads and then
  32.        displays the table of contents

  34.        INFVIEW screen looks much like VIEW.EXE, so if you are using VIEW.EXE
  35.        you will also be familiar with INFVIEW.

  37.        There are Service and Options menus, but not all commands are
  38.        functional yet.

  40.        I added one new menu -Video- where you can customize colors and
  41.        video modes. I do not have color monitor, so I am sure than
  42.        defaults are not nice. After you make any changes, save the new
  43.        view.cfg. INFVIEW looks for that file in his exe directory when
  44.        started.
