  6. LogView is a text file viewer program for OS/2 and eCS. LogView can trace 
  7. files in realtime and is very quick. It can be used during program development 
  8. to disply debug output or to show any other text file or logfile created by any 
  9. arbitrary program.

  49. You can enter the name of your text file as the first parameter on the command 
  50. line or to insert the name in the parameter entry field of the programm settings.

  52. Installation:
  53. Use WarpIn V0.9.12 or higher or create a new directory and unzip the .ZIP file 
  54. into this directory. If you wish to start LogView from other directories, the 
  55. LogView directory has to be in the LIBPATH variable. Alternativ you can copy the
  56. .DLL files to a directory listed in your LIBPATH variable. If you wish to start
  57. LogView only via a program object on your desktop, you can set the working 
  58. directory to the .EXE directory, and the program parameter to your log file.
  59. In that case, no LIBPATH variable is needed.

  61. LogView is Freeware. The .DLL files delivered together with LogView are not
  62. freeware! It is only allowed to use this DLL files together with LogView.
  63. Distribution and usage of the .DLL files togeter with other programs are not
  64. allowed. Neither it is allowed to distribute modified packages of LogView
  65. nor to distribute parts of the LogView package separate.

  75. LogView ist ein Programm zur Anzeige von Textdateien für OS/2 und eCS. 
  76. LogView ist sehr schnell und kann Dateien in Echtzeit verfolgen. Es kann 
  77. während der Programmentwicklung benutzt werden um Debugausgaben zu verfolgen 
  78. oder um Text- oder Logdateien anzuzeigen, die von beliebigen anderen Programmen 
  79. erzeugt werden.

  123. Benutzen Sie WarpIn V0.9.12 oder höher oder erzeugen Sie ein neues Verzeichnis
  124. und entpacken die .ZIP Datei in dieses Verzeichnis. Wenn Sie LogView von anderen
  125. Verzeichnissen aus starten möchten, muß das LogView Verzeichnis in der LIBPATH
  126. Variable stehen. Alternativ können Sie auch die .DLL Dateien in ein Verzeichnis 
  127. kopieren das bereits in der LIBPATH Variable steht. Wenn Sie LogView lediglich
  128. über ein Programmobjekt auf dem Desktop starten wollen, genügt es, in den
  129. Programmeinstellungen das Arbeitsverzeichnis auf das LogView .EXE Verzeichnis
  130. zu setzen und als Parameter die Logdatei anzugeben. In diesem Fall wird keine
  131. LIBPATH Variable benötigt.

  133. LogView ist Freeware. Die .DLL Dateien, die mit LogView geliefert werden, sind
  134. nicht Freeware. Es ist lediglich erlaubt, die .DLL Dateien zusammen mit LogView
  135. zu benutzen. Die Weitergabe und Benutzung der .DLL Dateien zusammen mit anderen
  136. Programmen ist nicht erlaubt. Weiter ist es weder erlaubt geänderte Pakete von 
  137. LogView weiterzugeben, noch Teile des LogView Paketes einzeln weiterzugeben.
