with your other LPEXxxxx.LXH files. Place LXQUICK.INF along with your other
LPEXxxxx.INF files.
When in a document, issue the command QUICK to get the Quick pull-down, then
use it. On-line help is provided as per this book.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Help for Quick ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
These functions on the "Quick" pull-down provide alternatives to their
equivalents on the "File" pull-down. They are faster because they re-use
existing document windows instead of providing new document windows for each
document.
To re-use document windows safely, a replacement document must have the same
extension as the one it replaces.

ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ <hidden> Help for Disk Drive ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Drives are selected by using the cursor up and down keys, or by engaging the
pull-down list box to the right. When a different drive is selected, the
left-hand and right-hand list boxes are refreshed.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ <hidden> Help for Search Pattern ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The search pattern determines which files are listed in the right-hand list
box. To effect a new search pattern, press Enter on the keyboard. Case is
ignored.
The "*" wild card character can be used anywhere to represent any combination
of characters. The "." character, if used only at the end of the search
pattern, will limit the files listed to those which do not contain that
character.
Do not specify a drive letter here; use the combo box to change drives. Do not
specify a path here; use the left-hand list box to change directories.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ <hidden> Help for Directories ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Directories below the current directory are listed in the left-hand list box.
Above them there may be (from the top):
o The root directory (highlighted if current).
o Directories between the root and the current directory.
o The current directory (highlighted).
A new current directory can be chosen either by selecting an item from the
list with the keyboard and pressing Enter, or by double-clicking on the
required item. Both left-hand and right-hand list boxes will be refreshed.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ <hidden> Help for Files ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Files matching the search pattern are listed in the right-hand list box.
The search for a file can be concluded either by selecting one or more items
and pressing Enter.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ <hidden> Help for Multiple ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
When this check box is checked, more than one item can be selected from the
right-hand list box. Otherwise, only one item can be selected.
If the check box is greyed, then it is intended that only one selection be
made.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.2. Help for "Save" ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Saves the document to disk.
Overview of Quick
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2.3. Help for "File" ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

FAT (File Access Table) is the disk format supported by both DOS and OS/2,
wherein names have the 8.3 format (an 8 character name and a 3 character
extension. Names are always folded to upper case.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ <hidden> ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
HPFS (High Performance File System) is the disk format supported by OS/2,
wherein names may be longer, and include and arbitrary number of periods and
blanks (even initial and trailing blanks). Mixed case is supported, although
searches ignore case and names must be unique when folded to upper case.
