  2. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Help for Selecting Number of Adapters ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  4. Use this window to select the number of Pro AudioSpectrum 16 Adapters that you 
  5. have installed in your system. The maximum number of Pro AudioSpectrum 16 
  6. Adapters supported by MMPM/2 is one. 
  7.  
  8. If you select zero, then you will de-install all Pro AudioSpectrum 16 Adapters 
  9. that have been previously installed by MMPM/2.

  12. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Help for selecting PAS16 values ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  14. On this screen, you specify the values that you want to use with your Pro 
  15. AudioSpectrum 16 Adapter.  The values are described below.

  17. If you choose Close from the system menu, the selected values are set back to 
  18. the default values. 
  19.  
  20. Select Ok to save the selected values and continue. 
  21.  
  22. DMA Channel 
  23.  
  24. This field allows you to select the DMA channel for the Pro AudioSpectrum 16 
  25. you have installed in your system. Use the drop down box to set the correct DMA 
  26. channel for this card. 
  27.  
  28. The valid DMA Channels are 
  29.  
  30. 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 
  31.  
  32. If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  33. install), it might be necessary to change the DMA channel. To change the DMA 
  34. channel setting 
  35.  
  36.       Perform a selective installation and select the new DMA channel, 
  37.  
  38.       or 
  39.  
  40.       Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new DMA channel (It is the value 
  41.       immediately after the /D on MVPRODD.SYS line of the CONFIG.SYS), and 
  42.       reboot.

  44.  Interrupt Level 
  45.  
  46.  This field allows you to select the interrupt level for the Pro AudioSpectrum 
  47.  16 you have installed in your system. Use the drop down box to set the correct 
  48.  interrupt level for this card. 
  49.  
  50.  The valid interrupt levels are 
  51.  
  52.  2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 11, 12, and 15 
  53.  
  54.  If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  55.  install), it might be necessary to change the interrupt level. To change the 
  56.  interrupt level setting 
  57.  
  58.       Perform a selective installation and select the new interrupt level, 
  59.  
  60.       or

  62.       Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new interrupt level (It is the value 
  63.       immediately after the /I on MVPRODD.SYS line of the CONFIG.SYS), and
