  89. 3. ULTRA BIOS Utility
  90.  
  91.    To invoke the on-board BIOS utility, after a full system bootup to DOS 
  92.    operating system, use the DOS "DEBUG" program to access the BIOS utility:
  93.    
  94.       a. Load the DEBUG program by typing
  95.  
  96.      DEBUG after the DOS prompt ( ">" sign )
  97.  
  98.       b. Once in the DEBUG program, following the prompt ( "-" sign ), type
  99.  
  100.      g=c800:5    or 
  101.  
  102.      whatever BIOS address the board is jumpered to.
  103.  
  104.    The ULTRA BIOS utility displays SCSI ID, type, manufacturer, model number, 
  105.    and mapping mode for each SCSI device attached to the ULTRA 34F; it also 
  106.    provides functions for exercising SCSI devices.
  107.  
  108.      Verify : Non-destructive media verfication for hard disks, removable hard
  109.           disks and magneto optical devices.
  110.  
  111.      Scan   : Same function as verify except it will issue "reassign bad
  112.           block" to the drive when defective sectors are found.
  113.  
  114.      Format : Low level format of the SCSI device.
  115.  
  116.      CFormat: Low level format of the SCSI device with the certification 
  117.           option (CLIST) which re-sequences the good blocks.
