ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Help for Selecting Number of Adapters ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Use this window to select the number of REALmagic MPEG Playback Adapters that
you have installed in your system. The maximum number of REALmagic Playback
Adapters supported by MMPM/2 is one.
If you select zero, then you will de-install all REALmagic Playback Adapters
that have been previously installed by MMPM/2.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Help for selecting REALmagic Playback values ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
On this screen, you specify the values that you want to use with your REALmagic
Playback Adapter. The values are described below.
If you choose Close from the system menu, the selected values are set back to
the default values.
Select Ok to save the selected values and continue.
IO Base Address
This field allows you to select the IO base address for the REALmagic Playback
card you have installed in your system.
The valid IO base addresses are:
o 0260
o 0264
o 0268
o 026C
o 0280
o 0284
o 0288
o 028C
If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following
install), it might be necessary to change the IO base address. To change the IO
base address setting:
Perform a selective installation and select the new IO base address,
or
Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new IO base address, and reboot.
Interrupt
This field allows you to select the Interrupt for the CDROM interface connected
to you REALmagic card.
The valid Interrupts are:
10,11 and 15
If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following
install), it might be necessary to change the Interrupt. To change the
Interrupt setting:
Perform a selective installation and select the new Interrupt,
or
Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new Interrupt, and reboot.
CDROM Address
This field allows you to select the CDROM Adddress for the CDROM Interface you
have in your REALmagic card.
The valid CDROM Addresses are:
300,310,320,330,340,350,360,and 370
If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following
install), it might be necessary to change the CDROM Address. To change the
CDROM Address setting:
Perform a selective installation and select the new CDROM Address,
or
Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new CDROM Address, and reboot.
SCSI CDROM Address
This field allows you to select the SCSI CDROM Adddress for the CDROM Interface
you have in your REALmagic card.
The valid SCSI CDROm Addresses are:
C800,CA00,CE00,and DE00
If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following
install), it might be necessary to change the SCSI CDROM Address. To change the
SCSI CDROM Address setting:
Perform a selective installation and select the new SCSI CDROM Address,
or
Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new SCSI CDROM Address, and reboot.
CDROM Type
This field allows you to select the CDROM Type for the CDROM Interface you
have in your REALmagic card.
The valid CDROM Types are:
SCSI,SONY,IDE,and Panasonic
If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following
install), it might be necessary to change the CDROM Type to the Correct Type.
To change the CDROM Type setting:
Perform a selective installation and select the new CDROM Type,
or
Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new CDROM Type, and reboot.
