  2. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Help for Selecting Number of Adapters ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  4. Use this window to select the number of REALmagic MPEG Playback Adapters that 
  5. you have installed in your system. The maximum number of REALmagic Playback 
  6. Adapters supported by MMPM/2 is one. 
  7.  
  8. If you select zero, then you will de-install all REALmagic Playback Adapters 
  9. that have been previously installed by MMPM/2.

  12. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Help for selecting REALmagic Playback values ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  14. On this screen, you specify the values that you want to use with your REALmagic 
  15. Playback Adapter.  The values are described below. 
  16.  
  17. If you choose Close from the system menu, the selected values are set back to 
  18. the default values. 
  19.  
  20. Select Ok to save the selected values and continue. 
  21.  
  22. IO Base Address 
  23.  
  24. This field allows you to select the IO base address for the REALmagic Playback 
  25. card you have installed in your system. 
  26.  
  27. The valid IO base addresses are: 
  28.  
  29. o 0260 
  30. o 0264 
  31. o 0268 
  32. o 026C 
  33. o 0280 
  34. o 0284 
  35. o 0288 
  36. o 028C 
  37.  
  38. If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  39. install), it might be necessary to change the IO base address. To change the IO 
  40. base address setting:

  42. Perform a selective installation and select the new IO base address, 
  43.  
  44. or 
  45.  
  46. Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new IO base address, and reboot. 
  47.  
  48. Interrupt 
  49.  
  50. This field allows you to select the Interrupt for the CDROM interface connected 
  51. to you REALmagic card. 
  52.  
  53. The valid Interrupts are: 
  54.  
  55.  10,11 and 15 
  56.  
  57. If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  58. install), it might be necessary to change the Interrupt. To change the 
  59. Interrupt setting:

  61. Perform a selective installation and select the new Interrupt, 
  62.  
  63. or 
  64.  
  65. Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new Interrupt, and reboot. 
  66.  
  67. CDROM Address 
  68.  
  69. This field allows you to select the CDROM Adddress for the CDROM Interface you 
  70. have  in your REALmagic card. 
  71.  
  72. The valid CDROM Addresses are: 
  73.  
  74.  300,310,320,330,340,350,360,and 370 
  75.  
  76. If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  77. install), it might be necessary to change the CDROM Address. To change the 
  78. CDROM Address setting: 
  79.  
  80. Perform a selective installation and select the new CDROM Address, 
  81.

  84. Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new CDROM Address, and reboot. 
  85.  
  86. SCSI CDROM Address 
  87.  
  88. This field allows you to select the SCSI CDROM Adddress for the CDROM Interface 
  89. you have  in your REALmagic card. 
  90.  
  91. The valid SCSI CDROm Addresses  are: 
  92.  
  93.  C800,CA00,CE00,and DE00 
  94.  
  95. If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  96. install), it might be necessary to change the SCSI CDROM Address. To change the 
  97. SCSI CDROM Address setting: 
  98.  
  99. Perform a selective installation and select the new SCSI CDROM Address, 
  100.  
  101. or 
  102.  
  103. Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new SCSI CDROM Address, and reboot. 
  104.  
  105. CDROM Type 
  106.  
  107. This field allows you to select the  CDROM Type for the CDROM Interface you 
  108. have  in your REALmagic card. 
  109.  
  110. The valid  CDROM Types are: 
  111.  
  112.  SCSI,SONY,IDE,and Panasonic 
  113.  
  114. If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  115. install), it might be necessary to change the CDROM Type to the Correct Type. 
  116. To change the CDROM Type setting:

  118. Perform a selective installation and select the new CDROM Type, 
  119.  
  120. or 
  121.  
  122. Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new CDROM Type, and reboot.
