  3. In order for Sytos Plus to access this backup device, you
  4. must remove the 'REM' (if it exists) from the following
  5. lines in CONFIG.SYS:
  6.           REM DEVICE=[drive:]\[path]\SYFILES\ASPI4OS2.MCA
  7.           REM DEVICE=[drive:]\[path]\SYFILES\CMM_2GBB.SYS
  8.  
  9. Note that [drive:]\[path] represents the drive and directory
  10. where the Sytos Plus files were installed and should already
  11. be displayed within these statements.  (Note: ASPI4OS2.MCA
  12. is the name of the SCSI manager.)
  13.  
  14. If these DEVICE= statements do not appear in CONFIG.SYS,
  15. you will need to add them, making sure that the 
  16. DEVICE=...ASPI4OS2.MCA statement occurs in the file before
  17. the other DEVICE= statement.
  18.  
  19. Note: After changing your CONFIG.SYS file, you will need to
  20. reboot for these changes to take effect.
  21.  
  22. If you receive a "Backup Device Not Responding" message 
  23. when adding this device, you will need to check the backup
  24. device settings again after modifying CONFIG.SYS and
  25. rebooting your system to be sure that the device is set up
  26. correctly.  To do so, run Sytos Plus after you reboot and
  27. then choose "Utilities: Backup device setup."  Verify that
  28. the settings are correct.
  29.
