  4.             OS/2 MOZART SOUND SYSTEM DRIVER INSTALLATION

  8.    To install OS/2 Mozart Sound System drivers, just insert the driver 
  9. diskette into floppy drive, and type:
  10.  
  11.           c:\mmos2\minstall
  12.  
  13. in any OS/2 window, or double click the icon "Multimedia Intall" in the
  14. Multimedia Folder on the system desktop. An User Interface will show up 
  15. on your screen. Set the Source drive to the floppy drive that has the Mozart
  16. installation diskette. An icon for the Mozart Sound System driver with version
  17. number and file size will appear on the window. Clicking on the Mozart driver 
  18. icon and kicking the INSTALL button, then following the instructions the 
  19. installation will copy all neccesary files to your system and modify the
  20. CONFIG.SYS file for you. Reboot your system to active the Mozart Sound system
  21. after the installation is completed.

  23. NOTE:
  24.   The Mozart Sound System Driver is for OS/2 version 2.1. Please make sure 
  25. that you have installed OS/2 2.1 and Multimedia Presentaion Manager 
  26. (Version 1.1) before you install the OS/2 Mozart Sound System driver.

  28. There are 10 files for OS/2 on the installation diskette.

  30. MZTDD.SYS    ----    Physical device driver for mozart sound system.
  31. MZTVDD.SYS    ----    Virtual device driver for mozart sound system.
  32. MOZART.DLL    ----    Vendor specified resource dynamic link libaray (DLL).
  33. GENIN.DLL    ----    OS/2 generic installation DLL.
  34. GENINMRI.DLL    ----    Text used by generic installation.
  35. CARDINFO.DLL    ----    Mozart based information used by GENIN.DLL
  36. AUDFILES.SCR    ----    The filelist to be copied.
  37. CONTROL.SCR    ----    Main control file containing the information used by Minstall.exe to
  38.             install the audio adapter.
  39. AUDHELP.HLP    ----    The online help file with OS/2 help file format.
  40. README.TXT    ----    The file you are reading now.

  42. MZTDD.SYS and MZTVDD.SYS are copied to C:\MMOS2.
  43. All DLL are copied to C:\MMOS2\DLL.
  44. AUDHELP.HLP is copied to C:\MMOS2\HELP
  45. All .SCR are not copied.

  47. There are 4 files for WIN-OS/2 on the installation diskette.

  61. MZTMIX.EXE is copied to C:\OS2\MDOS\WINOS2, and rest of WIN-OS2 files are
  62. copied to C:\OS2\MDOS\WINOS2\SYSTEM directory.
