  2. S506.ADD is a OS/2  base device driver to suport OS/2 use Mozart 601 second IDE port . Two way you can install this base device driver.
  3. Ver 1.00
  4. 1. Before OS/2 installation.
  5.     1.1     Copy this device driver to installation diskket.
  6.     1.2     Eidt config.sys on this disk. Add one line before IDE hard drive drive(IBM1S506.ADD).
  7.             BASEDEV=S506.ADD
  8.     1.3     Do OS/2 installation.

  10. 2. After OS/2 installation.
  11.     2.1     Copy this device driver to root directory or \OS2\BOOT directory.
  12.     2.2     Edit config.sys in hard drive root directory. Add one line before IDE  drive driver (IBM1S506.ADD).
  13.             BASEDEV=S506.ADD
  14.     2.3     Do Selective Installation in System Setup group.
  15.     2.4     Choice CDROM icon and Select CDROM type (Non_List_ATAPI_CDROM, if standard ATAPI CDROM).
