What This Diskette Does
-----------------------
This diskette provides the audio driver for OS/2 users.
The Audio Features Diskette enables or updates the audio function
of the following ThinkPad computers:
- ThinkPad 380, 380D, 380E, 380ED, 380XD, 380Z
- ThinkPad 385D, 385ED, 385XD
- ThinkPad 560X, 560Z
- ThinkPad 600, 600E
- ThinkPad 770, 770E, 770ED, 770X
To determine if you have to update the audio driver or not, please refer
to the "Summary of Changes" section.
To update the audio driver, please refer to the "Installation Guide"
section.

Installation Guide
------------------
1. Start OS/2.
2. Insert the ThinkPad Audio Features Diskette for OS/2 into the
diskette drive.
3. Open the OS/2 command prompt and type MINSTALL. Then
press Enter.
4. Select A: for the source drive.
5. The installation program shows Crystal Audio(Pre-Selected), IBM
OPL-3 FM MIDI Synthsis(Pre-Selected).
from the list. A check mark appears next to the selected items.
6. Click on Install; then follow the instructions on the screen.
7. When you have completed the installaion, restart the computer.
Note:
Make sure you have selected Multimedia Software Support in the OS/2
Setup and Installation window when you installed OS/2. Make sure you
have not selected any audio hardware during the OS/2 installation;
otherwise, OS/2 might detect your audio hardware as SoundBlaster Pro
by mistake and install the device driver for SoundBlaster Pro into
your hard disk drive.
If you had error messages during OS/2 boot, you need to uninstall
multimedia software using the Selective Uninstall program.
When you reinstall the multimedia software supported by Selective
Install program, make sure to remove SoundBlaster Pro from the
Multimedia Device Support in the system configuration window.
